And having Income Tax exemption Under Section 80G (5) (VI) of the Income Tax Act 1961 dated 21/01/2008 and Under Section 12A R/w section 12AA (1) (b) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 with Notification No. V.21/12A/CIT/MNG/01-02. # The guiding spirit behind the philanthropic activities – HH Shri Maruti Guruji – a pen sketch

HH Shri. Maruti Guruji is the visionary and the source of inspiration behind all the philanthropic activities of Shri Kshetra Bangaramakki located on the banks of river Saraswathi. HH was born in 1978, as second of the three sons of Late HH Shri. Ganesh Bhat and Smt. Gangabai. He holds a Master Degree in Sanskrit Grammar and Vedas. HH was anointed as Dharmadhikari of Shri. Kshetra when he was still a 19 year old student.

In the year 2000, HH was ordained to carry out the 400 year old sacred tradition of Spiritual Counselling to the thronging devotees. In the year 2002, he founded two trusts: Shri Veeranjaneya Religious and Charitable Trust and Shri Veeranjaneya Educational and Charitable Trust ® to channelize the offerings of the devotees into various philanthropic activities. In the year 2011, HH founded the SHRI VEERANJANEYA EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE TRUST Foundation to expand the range of philanthropic activities as detailed above.

By the spiritual guidance and blessings of HH Shri Maruti Guruji, Shri Kshetra Bangaramakki is now transformed into a renowned destination in the cultural map of India.
